Description

In Mission Membrane, players take on the role of microscopic helpers inside the human body, guiding glucose molecules from the digestive system into the bloodstream. Mira and Carlos are preparing for a 10K run, and they need energy—fast! Your mission is to ensure that the glucose from their pre-race banana reaches their cells in time. Gameplay This cooperative educational game simulates the biological process of nutrient absorption through cell membranes. Players must work together to: Use membrane proteins strategically Manage ion gradients (sodium, potassium) Transport glucose molecules from the intestine into the blood Each turn involves drawing and playing cards to activate specific transport mechanisms. The game includes a tutorial mode for easy onboarding and offers two difficulty levels: with or without "Backup" cards that simplify gameplay.
