Beneath a crumbling clockwork city, three secret factions battle for control of a labyrinthine maze of rotating tiles and unstable machinery. Players take on the identities of mad inventors, saboteurs, and cunning opportunists, navigating a dynamic hex-tile maze that reshapes itself as the game unfolds, revealing them strategically to activate powerful abilities or conceal their motives just a little longer. Every role is unique, every turn is unpredictable, and every player might be bluffing. Whether you’re a loyal 'Gizmologist', a destructive 'Rabblerouser', or a greedy 'Opportunut', every turn is a chance to outthink (or out-scheme) your rivals. With clever mechanics and gleefully chaotic expansions, Gears 'N Guffaws rewards adaptability, timing, and a good sense of humor. The game includes two modular expansions and can be played as Semi-Cooperative, Fully Competitive or Solo (includes a three-variant solo mode).
