Catacombs Alpha

Description

Catacombs Alpha is a cooperative dungeon crawler where a party of up to 3 heroes work together against a "dungeon master / DM" player. The DM controls the various monsters the heroes encounter. To resolve combat, players flick wooden discs representing their heroes across the game board. Ranged shots such as missiles and fireballs are represented by separate discs of various sizes. The heroes must fight through a series of monster-filled rooms to reach and defeat the final boss - a Catacomb Lord. Catacombs Alpha features a streamlined rule set and introduces all new heroes, monsters, items, and Catacomb Lords. The game remains fully compatible with all existing Catacombs Third Edition expansions. —description from the designer
