Description

Afrinopoly is a multi-faceted game, of African awareness for those interested in combining the challenge of attaining wealth, along with the acquisition of knowledge about vital geographic, economic, cultural and political data of the various nations within the African continent. Afrinopoly embraces the principles of mathematics, cultural awareness, economic intuition, negotiating skills, the basic theory of import/export and the Ujamaa principle (Cooperative Economics). Although the game includes the buying and selling the right to represent nations in Africa, no subliminal connotation should be drawn from this principle. The sole purpose of Afrinopoly is to enhance one's all-around knowledge of the geography, culture, economics and politics of nations within the African continent, and to sharpen one's entrepreneurship endeavors via realistic economic scenarios. —description from the rulebook
