Favor of the Goddess

Description

In Favor of the Goddess, players take on the roles of acolytes seeking enlightenment by performing sacred rituals. They must arrange the right combination of offerings at ancient temples to match their ritual cards. On their turns, players manipulate the available resources, exchanging or placing offerings at the open temple where the priest is present. They can flip the double-sided temple tiles and move the priest between them. When a ritual card’s pattern is matched, they gain favor points and advance on the score track. Scored rituals may also grant resources, coins, or affect opponents. With careful planning, resources management, and optimizing actions, a player can score multiple ritual cards in a turn. Scroll cards provide special abilities and strategic advantages. The first player to reach the end of the score track wins the game.
