Description

In さくらだんご (Sakura Dango), you want to collect five sakura cards or get your opponent to collect three dango cards — but who will collect which cards will be determined by both of you The first player in a round takes the deck of ten sakura cards and seven dango cards, then chooses three of them and places them face down in an arrangement. The other player says a number 0-3, then chooses and reveals this many cards, claiming them; the first player reveals and claims the remaining cards. The roles then switch, and play continues until someone collects five sakura cards (winning 2 pistil chips) or three dango cards (with their opponent winning 1 pistil chip). The loser of a round starts the next round, and play continues until someone has at least three pistil chips. さくらだんご includes six rule twist cards for use once you're comfortable with the base game.
