Description

Boletus is a set-collecting game in which you must collect mushrooms with your knife and basket. If you collect them without a license and run into a forest ranger, you'll lose them and receive a hefty fine. Also, be careful not to break your wallet, as this will prevent you from losing your license. Avoid eating the poisonous mushrooms, and you'll survive to enjoy the victory. Each player has a three-by-three face-down card array that simulates the field. On your turn, you turn over two cards from the field or one from the center pile, which you can place in another opponent's playing area. The cards you turn over can be edible or poisonous mushrooms, or even actions. It's a filler game with a lot of negative interaction between players, which leads to great moments and constant demands for revenge. You can poison another mushroom picker, makeing them lose their knife, or even steal their license. —description from the designer
