Description

Camino de Santiago is a strategic board game - a dice game with a double-sided board. The action takes place on the northern and southern routes that lead through Spain or Portugal to the Cathedral of St. James in Santiago de Compostela. The routes mark sacred, historical and other places worth visiting. For visiting these places, players gain Place cards and tokens. Using throws of six wooden dice, players choose a path, change directions, but their goal is always to reach the Cathedral of St. James. To make a move on the board, the player must roll Shoes or Map and Gourd on the dice. The game ends when one of the players reaches Santiago de Compostela. Players add up the points collected from Place cards and tokens. The player who scores the most points wins. (Publisher's description)
