Description
Let's Go to The Moon game is a rather obscure space game from the late 50's. The game consists of a board that shows a path of 17 squares from a rocket launch site to the moon. Players choose a colored wooden playing piece and spin a rocket shaped spinner to determine number of spaces to move along the path. If a player lands on 4 or 6 they go into a satellite orbit, delaying progress. The first to reach the moon is the winner. The game was registered by Alfonsas Burchikas on the 4th Sept 1958 cited in the Catalog of Copyright Entries, Third Series. Part 1: Books and Pamphlets Jul-Dec 1958: Vol 12 No 2. pg. 250.
