Description

In this puzzle tile-laying game, players create their own tide pools, carefully selecting creatures to create the most vibrant and thriving ecosystem for points. Based on the Pacific coast tide pools found on the coast of California, you will learn first hand about the complex and often hidden world of intertidal life. Each turn, players will choose and place tiles representing different marine creatures—sea stars, anemones, crabs, and more—while strategically managing placement and the current, ever changing scoring objectives while making use of the established food chain to score the most points! With stunning artwork inspired by real Pacific coast inhabitants, Low Tide offers both casual fun and educational depth, making it perfect for nature lovers, strategy gamers, and families alike. Will your tide pool flourish or be swept away by the changing tides? —description from the designer
