KALAS

Description

"Destroy the biosphere in the quest for your PARTY(Kalas)" - A family game about climate change. The objective of the game is to prepare a party. The players embark on exciting air travels around the world. The journey goes to poor countries where conflict minerals are mined, to the amazon that's being deforested and so on. Two to six players fly around the world to gather letters to form the word KALAS (party). The letters represent things needed for a party, for example palm oil, lithium and cocoa. Whoever collects all the letters and return to the goal wins. PARTY/KALAS is a satirical game about pollution and climate change. Lars Arrhenius and Eric Ericsson have earlier designed the board games "Welcome to society" and "Panama" that are both part of the collections of Norrköping art museum.
