Humanity as we know it has ended. The origins of the pathogen that erased more than 99% of the population remain unknown, but its aftermath is clearly visible to every survivor. While settlements are being founded by the remaining refugees, you've been appointed as the Leader of a small encampment. Are you up to the task? Can you keep your people safe, while facing new disasters? Gameplay Overview By the End is a worker placement, city building survival game. During the course of the game you'll assign your workers to various actions, like building districts, improvements, researching technologies and more. Be sure to also keep discontent and hunger at bay, or your rule may end. By the End is a scenario driven game: fulfill its objective before time runs out or you are deposed. Scenario may also alter setup and rules to fit their needs. The game is portable, can be played in 10-15 minutes and offers deep strategy. —description from the designer
