Dreamwood

Description

Dreamwood is a worker placement game where each player represents an animal species. During each round, and event card is revealed and players will secretly place their workers on their player board to advance on 5 different tracks that represent the progress of each specie. The tracks are food, offspring, exploration, shelter, and leisure. Food track awards one time (x2) bonuses to worker placements. Offspring track awards additional workers. Exploration track awards a random income each round. Shelter track awards secret endgame bonuses. Leisure track awards immediate random advances on tracks. The game ends when at least 1 player reaches the end of a track. Players score victory points depending on their position on each track (relative to the other players). The player with the most victory points wins. —description from the designer
