Description

Archibald, Certainly Not! is a game of World War One aerial combat focused on fun and playability. The game can be played on any table, completely free of hexes and hex mats using garden variety six sided dice. Additionally there is almost no tracking of altitude or excessive clutter. Archibald’s clean mechanics lead to great fun and the feel of aerial combat during the Great War (minus the sheer terror), while minimizing the bookkeeping. A typical game will last from one to two hours, depending greatly on the number of aircraft involved and each player’s tendency to ponder. The game includes an extensive list of ratings for all types of aircraft, not just sexy Spads and Fokker D.VIIs, along with a well informed QRS. —description from the publisher Sequence of Play (all actions are simultaneous): 1 - moving 2 - shooting
