Description

1894 is a 3-4 player 18xx game set along the border between France and Belgium.

Some 1894 features:

 two public companies start the game floated, with every player invested in them
 full capitalization with shares in the IPO paying to the company
 novel share redeeming/reissuing model
 public companies that may be started later in the game and that can choose their home city
 regular green cities upgrade to OO–like brown cities: it is possible to disconnect what used to be connected
 trains may be upgraded to newer types at a discount
 streamlined game end
