Description

You protect the last forest on Earth, and big business wants to use big robots to destroy it. Bare arms and infiltrate their headquarters to stop their boss and HIT THE KILL SWITCH! Druids with Guns is a one page ttrpg designed for 4-6 people where you play as a grove of Druids fighting back against a corporation that wants to destroy your forest. As a Druid with a Gun, you have a special firearm imbued with druidic magic called your Druid Gun, as well as some ammo for it. On paper your Druid Gun is nothing more than a name. In action, it’s up to you to interpret that name and decide how you can use it to utterly destroy the robots and the big boss of the big business behind them. But that won’t be easy! The GM functions as the overseer of the whole operation, describing the headquarters the Druids must infiltrate and the challenges that await them inside. To help with all that, you are given five tables that tell you what the headquarters are like, what the boss in charge of all this is like, and also what the obstacles inside are like. You can choose from the options on these tables, roll them randomly, or even make up your own choices if you want to! I mean, who do I look like, your boss? There is one move that is used for whenever you would need to make a roll to accomplish something, and it is called Use Druid Gun. But to use your Druid Gun, you must first decide how much ammo you’ll be spending. You must spend at least one ammo to gain one d6 to Use Druid Gun. Any additional ammo you spend counts as an additional d6 that you roll for that instance of using the move. You can hold up to six ammo at a time, and once it is all spent you can use one of your two reloads to regain those six slots of ammo. When you’re completely out of ammo you’re as good as dead. However, there is also another way you can Use Druid Gun, and that comes in the form of Combo Moves. With Combo Moves other Druids can spend some of their own ammo to help you out on a roll, and they decide how much ammo to spend before that roll is made. But be careful! A 6 may be the great result of great teamwork, but a 1 will really cost you. Druids with Guns is my very first one page ttrpg, and my very first fully finished ttrpg project at that!
