Description

Feinnveigr The mortals of Fainnveigr call you gods and have been doing so for long enough that you’re starting to believe it. The primordial magic that created you threatens them and their settlement, but you have been acting as its protectors for hundreds of years. You watched Fainnveigr grow from a collection of boats and temporary shelters by the sea to a bustling city filled with shrines and temples built in your honour. The mortals believe their city is safe, but threats are mounting from both sides of their walls. New gods are attracted to Fainnveigr and want to take your place, the primordial magic of the outlands threatens to demolish it, some mortals are seeking out the magic for themselves in an attempt to join your pantheon and others have been living in the safety you provide for so long that they are beginning to question if you are even necessary. Your job is to maintain your position despite all of this. Welcome to the Pantheon The Gods of Fainnveigr is an OSR compatible rules-light game of monster fighting, exploration, magic, and divinity. Players work to keep Fainnveigr safe from the primordial magic of the outlands and unrest coming from within the city while trying to maintain their divinity in a world that never intended for them to be gods.
