Description
Comforting, reliable, yet always separate. The Mermaid is about being in a world that is not fit for you and finding your place in it. Every Mermaid is different from the normal human population, be it with a physical difference, neurodivergence, or their monstrous nature just being out of sync with the surface world they are walking on. The Mermaid is a Skin of having to live in a world which is not prepared for you. Strongly empathic and with moves that offer many options to be taken for narrative pushes the Mermaid walks the line of helpful yet bitter. They have traded everything to walk with the people, why can't they just be accepted like everyone else?With this Skin you experience the world askew from the norm, even for typical monsters. There is always an oddness to being a creature made for another world in a different one. Heavy themes include foreign exchange students, neurodiversity, physical differences, and actual mermaids.
