🤝 Inclusive design ⓘInclusive design is separate from a game’s queer labels. It marks games whose design is deliberately inclusive even when not queer-themed: romance or marriage mechanics with no gender constraint, character creation without a forced gender binary, gender-neutral rules language, or table safety tools. Each marker shows where we found it.

Description
About the Game:Interstellar Witches is a partially GMless roleplaying game designed for one shot stories called "missions" which the players construct together with the help of nothing more than some pencils, paper, and a deck of Tarot Cards. Players all take control of a "Witch" the name given to the fortunate few who have the power to wield magic. Together you'll use that magic to crew an experimental interstellar ship and navigate your changing role in a world that is rapidly reassessing how it views magic, technology and the future. Indeed while Witches were once considered elite soldiers and the cornerstone of high society the last conflict changed all that. The world is now experiencing a technological golden age and magic users like yourselves are just another cog in the industrial machine that seeks to harness your gifts for its increasingly skyward ambitions. Gone are the days of magical wars and petty conflicts between noble houses, this is an era of cooperation, early space exploration, expansion, and interstellar adventure. At least on the surface of course. The era of the magic's domination did not disappear quietly and while the specter of that political conflict might threaten to rear it's head, society at large is enjoying a never before seen era of peace and prosperity. GameplayEach Mission takes place over four distinct rounds and players will use a hand of tarot cards, their playbook, and their corresponding prompts to help construct the narrative together. There are also optional rules for character advancement to allow for one shot games to become short campaigns. While one player who is more familiar with the rules should act as the "Narrator" and help guide the story, everyone gets to play a character and everyone may use their cards to contribute to the world building.
