Description
After the Collapse is a Queer Occult Steampunk-ish tabletop roleplaying game about disheartened radicals trying to form communities, organize resistance and rebuild their lives in a rapidly industrializing world still recoiling from the aftermath of a failed rebellion against an all-consuming empire of the gods. This is a game about the way people are reshaped by conflict and the bonds they share with friends and enemies alike as they work towards putting themselves back together and finding meaning. For some this might be getting their revenge and leading a second revolt against the powers that wronged them while for others it might be resolving leftover tensions with family and community or escaping from their past and finding a way to settle down and move on. 2025 Update: This new document is an abridged version of ‘After the Collapse’ a tabletop game we initially released in 2023. This new version attempts to streamline the original ruleset and make the text and font sizes more accessible. We are still however very dyslexic so if something doesn’t quite look right feel free to reach out and let us know. We may edit the older setting documents at a later date but wanted the new version to feel as open ended as possible.
