Description

The universe is infinite. In the thousands of years that have passed since the human race took its first tentative steps into the cosmos, the universe has revealed itself to be more brilliant and vibrant than those early explorers could have anticipated. No longer the center of their world, Humans have joined hand in hand with thousands of races across millions of worlds to form new societies, new orders, and new technologies. Ancient arts mingle with new philosophies - spaceships shrug off cause and effect, the corpses of long-dead gods litter the cosmos, and feats once considered the stuff of legend are now as mundane as filing paperwork. Everywhere you look, the universe is growing bigger, bolder, and more lucrative. Of course, there are those who seek to control this volatility - corporations, authorities, cults - but in equal measure, there are those who seek to break that control - Freehands. Covenant is a tag-based narrative d6 dice pool game about space weirdos pushing limits, breaking rules, and winning big. You play as a Freehand - a rogue variable in an already unpredictable universe, as a part of a Covenant - an alliance of like-mined rogue variables united by cause. As a Freehand, you make your living in the crevices. Orbital dive bars, shadowy back-alleys, rebellion base camps - Always one step ahead of the powers that be.
