Inana, Lady of the Mountains and Queen of the Steppe, the Sumerian god of war, lust, political power, equity, justice, and beauty. You are a servant of Inana. You have worked long in her service and have risen to a high position within the temple you live. The year is 2111 BC, only a few years after Utu-Hengal, the great warrior king, reclaimed the kingship of Sumer with the aid of Inana and drove off the Gutian invaders. A great festival is going to be held in celebration of Inana’s many deeds on this full moon. You have been instructed to manage all of the preparations of this festival.
