Description
CN: The Despised contains extensive reference to mental illness and depression. While it is an own-voices work, it does not use especially thick layers of mitigating metaphor. The Despised is a playbook for This PbtA Game Does Not Exist, a PbtA Game that does not exist. The Despised is a figure hated by the universe, filled with agony, but able to manipulate that hatred to their advantage in small and subtle ways. They push towards equilibrium with their pain and towards an understanding that is deeper and realer. They will likely fail. This PbtA Game Does Not Exist is a game about post-modern wizards who are terminally online and struggling with the weight of their world and their marginalizations.
