The Captain's fate rests on a knife's edge.Will anyone survive this Bermuda Love Triangle? It's all come to this. This newcomer, this OUTSIDER, has been cozying up with the Captain. Much more of that hand-holding and he'll lose that edge you long for. You slide your sword through the newcomer's ribs and tip him over the side. Even through the rain, your captain must see something, because he screams. You won't win this way... but you won't lose either. Surrender Your Heart, Captain is a competitive two-player romance TTRPG loosely inspired by Our Flag Means Death. With just a few d6s, 1-2 hours, and their imaginations, players can create a high-tension love triangle on the high seas. The storytelling balances collaboration with competition, as players are prompted to narrate scenarios “starring” their character built on details provided by their opponent. Characters strategize to win each round of play by building up their Vulnerability, Animosity, or Tension stat with the Dread Pirate. There's more to the game then just winning though-- a victory can turn sour, or be snatched from you by a desperate enough opponent. Be tactical to ensure your happy ending. Whether your game ends in tragedy, romantic bliss, or even slapstick comedy, one thing's for sure-- it'll be a wild ride getting there. Which of you will win the Captain's heart? And at what cost?
