FLOURISHverb (of a person, animal, or other living organism) grow or develop in a healthy or vigorous way, especially as the result of a particularly favorable environment. As I sat with my dear, sweet grandmother on the French Riviera in 1897 (god rest her soul) (yes, I am a vampire), I thought: "What if I could make the game with the most game, ever?" After one hundred and twenty-five years of work, fifty-four gerbils, and one unusually strong glass of cognac mixed with gerbil blood, I've finally done it. This game has so much game. So much that you'll look at it and say, "wow - I could never want anything else in a game!" Prepare to be wowed and amazed for years, nay, centuries, by the delicate, masterful writing, art enough to fill three libraries of Alexandria, and the real, live ants contained within. THIS GAME REQUIRES: A full set of standard use polyhedrals plus one thirty six-sided dice, a set of tarot cards, a tumbling block tower, a quarter, a penny, a rug that's sat in the moonlight for thirty days, a deck of playing cards blessed by the pope, a jar containing an angel's feather, a cardboard cutout of Justin Bieber, food to last thirty days and thirty nights, stories to last one thousand days and one thousand nights, a self-defense implement of choice, your favorite human being in the world, a video game disc so scratched it's unplayable, a tower that reaches all the way up to the moon, three cats, a carrot that's gained sentience and is having an existential crisis, all of the things you said you'd do and never finished, and a willingness to try something new.
